A long-established Porrera family cellar with an old village building and a newer production facility at Mas d’en Compte.
Producer identity
Two cellars belonging to one producer
The DOQ account dates the Cal Pla cellar in Porrera to approximately 1800 and records its passage through successive generations. The historic building at Carrer Prat de la Riba, 1 retains large arches and painted walls.
A separate production facility was built at the Mas d’en Compte vineyard in 2017. The two buildings are parts of one producer, not two Porrera wineries.

Mas d’en Compte Blanc
An estate white documented with old-vine Garnatxa Blanca, Xarel·lo and Picapoll Blanca. Proportions and ageing belong to the individual vintage.
Mas d’en Compte Negre
The corresponding estate red, built around old-vine Garnatxa and Carinyena with a smaller Cabernet Sauvignon component in documented releases.
Porrera range
The cellar makes red, white and rosé wines. That range description does not imply that every wine comes from Mas d’en Compte or shares one blend.
Place relationship
The historic village cellar and the vineyard facility
The producer describes vineyards between roughly 300 and 500 metres. Those figures belong to its estate account rather than to Porrera municipality as a whole.
The DOQ record publishes visits by prior reservation in Catalan, Spanish and English. The booking confirmation should establish which of the two cellar locations is used.
