Two wine consultants found their own direction
Pep Aguilar and Patri Morillo created Celler Comunica after years working as wine consultants around the Mediterranean. Their current producer site places the project at Mas d'en Cosme, Baboixos, in Falset.
DO Montsant describes Mas d'en Cosme as a granite-dominated estate. Comunica's own wine records are more exact: some wines come from granitic sand, while others include limestone, red clay, alluvium or slate. Granite is central to the estate account, not a shorthand for every wine or every Falset vineyard.
