Producer identity

A working cooperative, not only a historic building

Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella brings together more than eighty growers and continues to produce and sell the two principal agricultural products in its record: wine and olive oil.

Cèsar Martinell designed the cooperative cellar, completed in 1919. The building was declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest in 2002. Those dates describe construction and heritage protection, not two foundation claims.

Current wine evidence

Castell de Siurana Blanc

A new 2026 white presented by the cooperative as a recovery and revaluation of Cornudella's historic Macabeu.

Troies

A young red or rosé identity recorded in the current regional visitor account, with the version offered changing by season.

El Codolar and Mistela Castell de Siurana

An aged red and a sweet-wine identity within the cooperative range. The names do not create separate producers.

Vi Novell

The cooperative published its first new wine for the 2025 harvest. That first-release date belongs to the wine, not to the cooperative.

Place relationship

The 1919 cellar remains in use

The winery stands at Carrer Comte de Rius, 2 in Cornudella de Montsant. Its brickwork and parabolic internal arches make the building part of Catalonia's cooperative wine-cathedral tradition.

The current visitor programme includes general, family and group formats. Activities, minimum group sizes and prices vary, so the selected offer should be confirmed before travel.
