Producer identity
One of Montsant's early private wineries
DO Montsant dates Celler Laurona to 1999 and describes it as one of the appellation area's early private wineries. The winery was founded from René Barbier's work in the region and is now owned by the Fischer family.
The producer's Falset address identifies the winery. Published vineyard accounts place parcels across several parts of DO Montsant, so the address is not used as the origin of every grape.
Espectacle Vins is a separate one-wine producer subject whose wine is made at Laurona. That production relationship does not add Espectacle to Laurona's range or turn either name into a second profile for the other.

The winery is at Sort dels Capellans on the road from Falset towards Bellmunt del Priorat.
The current appellation account names Garnatxa and Carinyena as the principal traditional varieties, with Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon used in support. It does not reduce all Laurona vineyards to one soil or one municipality.
