DO Montsant · Ulldemolins
Celler Serra Major
A small Ulldemolins cellar developed from family vineyards, with its Sarroges site on red llicorella at about 750 metres.

Producer identity
A small project begun after vineyard study
Celler Serra Major grew from a family tradition of cultivating vines on both sides of Montsant. Work to restructure the old family vineyards began in 2000, and the small winery project followed in 2007.
Sarroges is both a named Ulldemolins site and a wine identity. It does not create a second producer beside Celler Serra Major.
Current wine evidence
Sarroges and Teix
Sarroges
The producer presents Sarroges as its principal expression of the high vineyard site. Current vintage and blend details should be checked against the release record.
Teix
A second current wine identity in the same small producer portfolio.
Slow ripening
The official record links the site's position between Montsant and the Serra de la Llena with slow fruit maturation. The statement remains scoped to Sarroges.
Place relationship
Red llicorella at Sarroges
DO Montsant describes Sarroges as very stony red llicorella at about 750 metres. This is named-site geology, not a claim that all Ulldemolins vineyards share one soil.
The official address is Carrer Alfons I el Cast, s/n in Ulldemolins. A current fixed visitor schedule or producer-direct price was not verified.
