Producer identity

One family across vineyard and cellar

Clos Dominic was established in 2002 by the Castillo-Bairaguet family. Priorat tourism describes the vineyard and winery work as entirely family-run and based on the producer's own grapes.

Published Porrera addresses conflict: the DOQ record gives Carrer Prat de la Riba, 3, while the regional tourism record gives Carrer Pau Casals, 4. The relationship between them has not been established.

Current wine evidence

Clos Petó, Vinyes Altes and Vinyes Baixes

Clos Petó

One of three current red-wine identities named in the regional producer record.

Vinyes Altes

Connected in documented producer material with the higher old-vine Carinyena and Garnatxa part of the estate.

Vinyes Baixes

A separate lower-vineyard red whose documented releases include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and smaller local-variety components. Exact composition remains vintage-specific.

Place relationship

Upper and lower vineyards kept distinct

The producer divides its steep Porrera vineyard into upper and lower areas. That internal estate distinction is not another municipal boundary or producer count.

Direct sales are recorded at the winery, but no current producer-controlled visit schedule or price was verified.
