Producer identity

An estate begun in 1997

Charlotte and Christopher Cannan acquired the original Clos Figueras property in 1997. The estate began with old Garnatxa and Carinyena and later planted Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier.

Les Figueres restaurant, the bed-and-breakfast and the wine-tourism operation are public parts of Clos Figueras. They do not represent separate wine producers.

Current wine evidence

Clos Figueres, Font de la Figuera and Serras

Clos Figueres

The estate's leading red identity. Its old-vine and parcel evidence remains specific to the wine and relevant vintages.

Font de la Figuera

Current red and white releases within the same producer range. The shared name does not merge their separate compositions.

Serras del Priorat

A broader range used in the current four-wine tasting. It remains part of Clos Figueras rather than a second winery.

Estate olive oil

Olive oil forms part of the wider agricultural and visitor offer but does not enlarge the winery register.

Place relationship

Wine, food and rooms on Carrer de la Font

The producer expanded into neighbouring old-town buildings in 2011, including an underground ageing cellar and the space that became Les Figueres restaurant.

The current one-hour tour tastes four wines and runs by reservation. The winery publishes daily opening while the restaurant and wine-tourism desk use a separate Tuesday-to-Sunday schedule.
