The DOQ Priorat legal listing uses Domini de la Cartoixa SL, while the producer and public winery identity is Clos Galena. They are two names for one El Molar producer record, not separate wineries.
The winery was founded in 1999. Current producer material attributes the project to the Pérez-Dalmau family; the date is not extended backwards into an older corporate history.

Formiga de Vellut
A red based on Garnatxa, Carinyena and Syrah in the producer's current account. Exact proportions remain vintage-specific.

The winery name recalls El Molar's mineral history
The producer explains that Galena refers to the mineral historically extracted around El Molar. The name is a local reference, not a claim that the winery occupies a mine.
