DOQ Priorat · Gratallops
Clos i Terrasses
Daphne Glorian's Gratallops estate, founded through the pioneering 1989 Priorat project and producing Clos Erasmus and Laurel as one tightly focused portfolio.

Producer identity
The producer behind Clos Erasmus
Clos i Terrasses is the producer behind Clos Erasmus and Laurel. The fame of the leading wine does not make Clos Erasmus a second winery subject.
Daphne Glorian joined the small group working the 1989 harvest around Gratallops. The early wines were made using shared facilities before Clos i Terrasses established its own village cellar; shared beginnings do not merge it with Clos Mogador or Álvaro Palacios.
Current wine evidence
Clos Erasmus and Laurel
Clos Erasmus
The leading red and the smaller of the two established releases. Its Garnatxa-led composition and production volume vary by vintage and are not treated as permanent figures.
Laurel
The second established red, drawing on several estate parcels and a broader selection than Clos Erasmus while remaining one Clos i Terrasses wine.
Laurel Blanc
A newer white identity documented for the 2024 vintage. Its published Garnatxa Blanca, Chenin and Viognier composition is vintage-specific.
Separate parcel vinification
The estate vinifies parcels individually before assembling its wines. A parcel record therefore does not automatically equal a bottled single-vineyard wine.
Place relationship
Terraces around Gratallops
The estate is built around small terraced sites near Gratallops, including Escales and later vineyard relationships such as Aubagues and Socarrats. Each retains its own vine and geology record.
No current public tasting programme, confirmed visitor entrance or producer-direct visit price was verified. The Gratallops address is an operating winery record rather than an invitation to arrive unannounced.
