Producer identity

A wider company with one defined Priorat estate

De Muller was founded in 1851 and has belonged to the Martorell family since 1995. Its wider company history and other wine operations do not move the DOQ Priorat winery away from Mas de les Pusses in El Molar.

The El Molar facilities were enlarged in 1999. That is a production-site development date, not a second founding of De Muller.

Current wine evidence

Les Pusses and Legítim belong to the El Molar range

Les Pusses

The estate-named DOQ Priorat red. The 2021 merchant record gives equal Merlot and Syrah with fourteen months in Hungarian oak; those details are vintage-specific.

Legítim

A separate DOQ Priorat wine in the Mas de les Pusses range. Its blend should be taken from the relevant vintage sheet.

Estate varieties

Regional records name Garnatxa, Garnatxa Peluda, Carinyena, Syrah and Merlot across the estate. They do not establish one blend for every wine.

Place relationship

Mas de les Pusses is the Priorat production centre

The DOQ and tourism records place a winery of more than 5,000 hectolitres at Mas de les Pusses. Capacity is a facility fact and not an annual production claim.

No current producer-controlled visitor programme for the El Molar estate was verified.
