Les Cousins Marc & Adrià

Marc and Adrià's Porrera project, developed through a 2007 trial and the later release of L’Inconscient, Sagesse and L’Antagonique.

Producer identity

Four dates, one producer history

Marc and Adrià developed the idea for Les Cousins around 2000, carried out their first Porrera trial in 2007, bottled the first L’Inconscient in 2009 and released it in 2010. Those dates describe different stages rather than competing founding years.

The cousins' family and professional connections provide context, but Les Cousins Marc & Adrià remains its own public producer identity.

Current wine evidence

An evolving range without alias inflation

L’Inconscient

The first commercial wine and the continuing entry point to the range. A current 2024 record confirms the identity without making its blend permanent across vintages.

Sagesse

The more structured red emerged from an unexpectedly extracted 2007 wine. The current record reaches the 2021 vintage.

L’Antagonique

A white-from-red-grapes experiment that was ultimately classified as rosé. Its category is part of the documented project history rather than a generic white-wine claim.

El Donzell

An aromatised project associated with fresh herbs. It belongs to the Les Cousins range and does not create another producer subject.

Place relationship

Made at Cims, kept as a separate producer

The wines are currently made at the Cims de Porrera facilities on the Carretera de Torroja. Host production does not merge Les Cousins with Cims de Porrera or enlarge either municipal count.

No current public visit programme or visit price was verified for Les Cousins itself.
