L’Infernal
The Torroja producer formerly known through the Trio Infernal project, acquired by the Belondrade family in 2023 and kept distinct from Adrets del Priorat.
Producer identity
A 2023 ownership change without identity inflation
L’Infernal developed from the project associated with three Rhône winemakers and was acquired by the Belondrade family in 2023. The ownership change is documented; it does not erase the earlier producer history.
The Belondrade family is also associated with Adrets del Priorat. L’Infernal and Adrets remain separate public producer identities, and the relationship does not make either a second municipal entry for the other.
Current wine evidence
Riu, LC2 and Aguilera
Riu
A documented Priorat red. The 2018 merchant record describes stainless-steel fermentation, manual punching down and a ten-to-fifteen-day maceration; those details belong to that release.
LC2
A documented white wine in the L’Infernal range. Its existence broadens the portfolio beyond red without supplying a stable cross-vintage blend.
Aguilera
A named L’Infernal wine documented across vintages from 2013 to 2017. The repeated wine identity does not create a separate estate profile.
Nerinterra boundary
New Belondrade-linked Priorat wines are not automatically treated as L’Infernal labels. Ownership alone does not merge distinct public ranges.
Place relationship
A current rural parcel and an unresolved former address
The current Peñín directory places L’Infernal at Polígon 8, parcel·la 148 in Torroja del Priorat.
An older L’Infernal address at Hort Tancat overlaps a registered Adrets del Priorat installation. The records reviewed do not establish continued shared use, transfer or succession of that installation, so none is asserted.
