Producer identity
An old estate under one family's stewardship since 1998
Regional and producer accounts trace the estate to the nineteenth century and record its acquisition by the Rovira Carbonell family in 1998. Mas d’en Gil released its first DOQ Priorat wines in 2000 from the 1998 vintage.
The winery is one estate producer. Its Bellmunt village wines, estate classifications and named valleys are parts of that portfolio rather than separate winery identities.

Two estate wines carry Vi de Finca status
Clos Fontà
A red Vi de Finca recognised by DOQ Priorat in 2018, made from Garnatxa Negra and Carinyena in the classification account.
Coma Blanca
A white Vi de Finca recognised alongside Clos Fontà, based on Garnatxa Blanca and Macabeu.
Coma Vella
One of the first Mas d’en Gil DOQ Priorat releases, launched in 2000 from the 1998 vintage.
Bellmunt
The estate's village-wine identity. Its municipal name does not imply that every Mas d’en Gil wine carries the same classification.

Five valleys inside one Bellmunt estate
The DOQ directory gives Finca Mas d’en Gil on the TP-7101 at kilometre 4. The official paratge register records Mas d’en Gil alongside Bancalets, Grinyons, Fornatxa, Coma, Cros and other named Bellmunt sites.
The producer describes biodynamic practice across a diverse estate. A separate specialist account records organic certification while distinguishing it from Demeter certification; this profile does not merge those two claims.
