Producer identity
A 2013 change of ownership, not a new place
Merum Priorati is a Porrera estate now belonging to Pere Ventura Family Wine Estates. The group acquired the estates and winery in 2013; that ownership date does not replace the earlier producer history.
The DOQ account records 102 hectares of mountain property with 20.5 hectares planted to traditional Priorat varieties. A regional visit record gives 25.5 hectares, so the planted-area figures are retained as source-specific rather than forced into agreement.
Current wine evidence
Inici, Destí and El Cel
Inici
The first of three main estate reds and published as a Vi de Vila Porrera. Blend and maturation details remain vintage-specific.
Destí
A second estate expression in the current three-wine collection, separate from Inici rather than a higher-volume alias.
El Cel
The producer's most limited expression. The 2021 record gives Garnatxa, Carinyena, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon with eighteen months in French oak; those details apply to that vintage.
Place relationship
A large mountain property with a smaller planted area
Producer and trade records name Les Foreses, Plana Marjot and Les Escomelles as principal vineyard areas. Their soils and vine ages remain site-specific.
The winery welcomes visitors by prior reservation, but no current producer-controlled duration or price was verified.
