Four growers building from cooperative experience
Orto Vins was founded on 18 July 2008 by four growers from El Masroig whose families had worked through the village cooperative for more than seventy years.
The project separates its wider Orto range from small-production singular wines tied to particular vineyards and varieties.

Village wines and singular vineyard releases
Orto
The principal red brings together the project's village-level vineyard material and sits at the centre of its public range.
Palell
A singular wine made from Garnatxa Peluda planted in 1950 on clay slopes at about 250 to 300 metres, fermented with native yeast and aged in old barrels.
Les Argiles and singular wines
Les Argiles d'Orto, Blanc Brisat, Les Comes d'Orto and La Coma del Genís appear in current tasting formats, depending on the visit.

The visit begins in El Masroig and moves into the vineyard
The public winery address is Passeig de l'Arbre in El Masroig. Visits combine the cellar with vineyard interpretation rather than presenting the address as a walk-in tasting room.
Palell's clay-slope description belongs to that named vineyard. The producer also works other sites whose soils and exposures should be recorded separately.
