Reeixir

The Falset wine project of Miquel Compte and Paloma Romeral, appearing in current records as both Reeixir and Reeixir Vinyes Compte.

Producer identity

Two versions of one public name

DO Montsant identifies Reeixir Vinyes Compte as the project of Miquel Compte and Paloma Romeral. The Falset village register shortens that identity to Reeixir. The two forms refer to one producer and do not create a separate Vinyes Compte winery.

The appellation's 2021 account traces the project to La Querida, an estate inherited by Miquel from his grandparents. A current company record places Reeixir VC SL at Passatge Cèsar Martinell, 2 in Falset, but that registered address is not presented as a visitor entrance.

Current wine evidence

The BK range remains current

BK Blanc

The DO Montsant shop records the 2020 release as Garnatxa Blanca and Macabeu. A Falset restaurant record gives the blend as 60% and 40% respectively, with limestone-clay named for that wine.

BK Rosat

A Garnatxa Negra rosé retained in the current appellation shop. The producer account published in 2021 describes it as part of an expanding range.

BK Negre

The red completes the three-colour BK group currently listed by DO Montsant. Its blend should be checked against the individual vintage rather than inferred from the other two wines.

Place relationship

La Querida anchors the project in Falset

La Querida is the documented family estate behind the project. The municipal relationship belongs to Falset without establishing one soil description for every Reeixir wine.

Miquel Compte and Paloma Romeral also appear in separate Priorat wine work. That does not move Reeixir out of DO Montsant or combine those public producer identities.
