Producer identity
One producer across two vineyard municipalities
Celler Joan Ametller was founded in 2003 and has worked from its Mas Mustardó premises since 2004. The wider family wine account reaches back to an estate in the Penedès in 1824; that earlier history is not presented as the founding date of this Priorat winery.
The winery and young vineyards are at Mas Mustardó in La Morera de Montsant, while the old Garnatxa vines of Les Solanes lie in Porrera. The Porrera vineyard relationship does not create a second producer profile.

Els Igols
A red Garnatxa wine associated with the old Les Solanes vines in Porrera. The producer records vines between sixty and seventy-five years old and very low yields for this site.
Clos Mustardó

Mas Mustardó lies between about 650 and 720 metres. The producer describes clay-limestone ground here, with red and white Garnatxa, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon around the winery.
Les Solanes is a separate steep Porrera site on llicorella. Its soil and old-vine claims are not extended to Mas Mustardó or to La Morera de Montsant as a whole.
