Local tourism associates the Torre de Rafolí with the Islamic period while allowing that the surviving structure may have older origins.
La Torre and Pradell de la Teixeta both belonged to the historic Barony of Escornalbou.

Mountain roads and walking routes
Roads connect La Torre with Marçà and Pradell. A car is the most practical way to reach dispersed paths and agricultural sites.
Routes towards Llaberia involve sustained ascent. Conditions and markings should be checked before setting out.
