Five Poboleda grower families joined in 2002 to make Genium wines exclusively from their own vineyards across three DOQ Priorat municipalities.
Producer identity
Five families, one producer
Genium Celler began in 2002 when five Poboleda families with established vineyard histories joined to make wine from their own grapes. The families form one producer subject rather than five separate wineries.
The official DOQ Priorat record states that the main part of production is declared and recognised as organic by CCPAE. That wording is retained at the stated production scope rather than expanded into a claim that every wine and vintage carries certification.

A range built from separate vineyard selections
Genium and Genium Costers
Two established red-wine identities in the producer range. Genium Costers is kept as a wine selection, not a second estate or cellar.
Genium Ecològic
The range identity most directly expressing the producer's organic work. Certification remains governed by the applicable wine and vintage record.
Genium Ximenis
A white-wine identity centred on Pedro Ximénez in the producer's published range, broadening the page beyond its red wines.
Poboleda Vi de Vila
A village wine whose name records Poboleda origin within DOQ Priorat. It does not make Genium a municipal authority or absorb the producer's vineyard relationships elsewhere.

Poboleda cellar and vineyards beyond one boundary
The cellar is at Carrer Nou, 92, baixos in Poboleda. Tourism material also records producer vineyards in Poboleda, Torroja del Priorat and La Morera de Montsant.
The winery uses tanks of different sizes to ferment parcels at their own maturity and a separate ageing space with French oak. The DOQ listing offers visits by prior reservation.
