The March 2025 register displays Venus La Universal with Falset and La Figuera. The current appellation profile joins the names as Venus La Universal – Sindicat La Figuera.
Sindicat La Figuera is a monovarietal Garnatxa Negra made in the old cooperative's traditional vats.

The eighteenth-century church of Sant Martí stands in the village. Paths lead to Coll dels Solans, El Guixar and the hermitage of Sant Pau.
Official tourism material records a military observation point near Sant Pau connected with planning for the Battle of the Ebro in 1938.
